Yes. Moodwall reads pins through Pinterest's public widget API, which only works on public boards. If your board is set to private, secret, or invite-only collab, switch it to public in Pinterest's board settings. You can flip it back anytime.
No. The app idles at 0% CPU between refreshes. A refresh downloads a small batch of images and composes them once, typically under a second. The whole bundle is under 1 MB.
Your last wallpaper stays put. Moodwall silently no-ops on each refresh attempt and resumes when you're back online. Even on reboot, your wallpaper is restored from the local file. No internet needed at startup.
